As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Business Unit with technological expertise, focusing on Kubernetes platforms to cover the entire application lifecycle.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide technical support for cloud incidents and problems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Perform monitoring, profiling, and troubleshooting of existing solutions to identify areas for improvement.
- Support OpenShift Containers Platform and Kubernetes incidents and problems, ensuring seamless operation.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable OpenShift/Kubernetes infrastructure to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and deploy them on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
- Optimize OpenShift/Kubernetes cluster performance, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
- Ensure the security of OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters by following best practices and implementing security controls.
- Automate OpenShift/Kubernetes deployment and management processes using infrastructure as code tools.
- Stay up to date with OpenShift/Kubernetes ecosystem developments and propose improvements.
- Work with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, existing systems, and applications.
- Create technical documentation and implement a solution's definition.
- Collaborate with teammates to continuously evolve the platform and ensure service excellence.
- Constantly learn about new technologies and apply those concepts to customer needs.
- Work in Agile mode to continuously develop the environment to fulfill the requirements from the different stakeholders.
- Participate in Solution Strategy, innovation areas, and technology roadmap globally.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science.
- 1 year of experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes, Docker (preferentially OpenShift).
- 1 year of experience with software engineering or software systems engineering in professional or academic environments.
- 1 year of experience with programming, scripting, or markup languages, including Bash, Python, JSON, or YAML in professional or academic environments.
- 1 year of experience with UNIX or Linux operating systems and command line interfaces administration in professional or academic environments.
- 1 year of experience with Windows operating systems, MS-DOS, and/or PowerShell scripting in professional or academic environments.
- 1 year of experience with software version control systems, including Git preferred in professional or academic environments.
- Team player with a positive attitude, strong communication (English verbal and written) & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues to technical and non-technical personnel.
