Job Summary
Bruker is seeking a skilled Service Support Engineer to provide technical expertise in installation, commissioning, customer training, maintenance, fault-finding, and customer support for our analytical instrumentation products. The ideal candidate will be an efficient and effective member of our Customer Service team, delivering highly competent solution support to our customers and furthering our professional image.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical, software, and application-related support and assistance to customers and colleagues.
- Familiarize yourself with specific instrumentation prior to installation and participate in final testing processes.
- Liaise with customers and colleagues in site planning and deliver basic operator training.
- Conduct breakdown and planned maintenance at customers' sites and validate systems to certifiable standards.
- Provide technical input to the sales team in non-routine sales cases.
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivation and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Ability to contribute to a team effort while accepting individual responsibility.
Frequent travel within Spain and Portugal, with some travel to customer sites abroad, especially within Europe.
