Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team on a beautiful dual season Private Sailing Yacht. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
Responsibilities:
- Take full control of the yacht's engineering systems, including propulsion, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including ISM and Mini ISM.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with the captain and other crew members to ensure seamless operation of the yacht.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other crew members.
Requirements:
- STCW10 certification
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- III/3 (Y3) license
- Covid vaccinated
- Strong sailing background
