Senior Frontend Engineer – Mobile Job Description

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of €85,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on your level of experience.

Job Description:

We are searching for a Senior Frontend Engineer – Mobile to be based in our Barcelona office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with web developers to integrate web views seamlessly into the app experience.
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable, high-quality, and stable features with a focus on end-user experience.
  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure a smooth release cycle with minimal defects.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring that best practices and quality standards are met across the codebase.
  • Propose and implement software architecture solutions that follow industry best practices and design patterns.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them to grow their skills and contribute effectively.

Your Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in mobile development, with a strong foundation in React Native.
  • Solid knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript and proficiency in integrating web views within a mobile context.
  • Comfortable working with native iOS (Objective-C/Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin) code when needed, including creating and maintaining React Native bridges to leverage platform-specific APIs.
  • Understand modern software engineering principles, with a proven ability to design and document feature architectures.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to writing clean and maintainable code.
  • Enjoy collaborating with team members across disciplines, including web developers and QA, to deliver a seamless product.
  • Proactive in seeking feedback and continually improving the quality of the codebase.
