Physician and Researcher in Global Health

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Physician to join our team at the Instituto De Salud Global De Barcelona (ISGlobal).
Key Responsibilities- Attend patients in the Hospital Clinic's Travel Clinic and provide clinical management of patients under supervision.
- Lead the design and development of research projects, including clinical studies and epidemiologic trials, and obtain grant funding in the field of travel medicine.
- Supervise personnel to coordinate research efforts and participate in the training of pre-doctoral fellows, residents, students, and volunteer workers.
- Publish scientific manuscripts in international peer-reviewed journals.
- Medical Doctor with specialization in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Experience and knowledge on issues related to Global Health and travel medicine.
- Previous experience conducting clinical research and a record of obtaining research funding and publishing in peer-reviewed journals are desirable.
- The position is for a period of 5 months (renewable).
- Contract: part or full time, 10 hours per week.
- Salary Range: Medical Research Fellow B.
