About the Project
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD researcher to join our team at CIC energiGUNE, a leading research center in Europe. The successful candidate will work on the development of innovative inorganic compounds for high-energy electrode materials in next-generation batteries.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research within the scope of the project, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of inorganic materials.
- Develop and implement novel synthesis routes for inorganic compounds.
- Perform physical-chemical and structural characterization of the synthesized materials using advanced techniques such as X-ray and Neutron powder diffraction, electron microscopy, and spectroscopic techniques.
- Conduct electrochemical characterizations of the materials.
- Prepare reports and papers for submission to peer-reviewed journals.
- Present research results at international conferences.
Requirements
- Master's degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
- Good level of spoken and written English.
- Team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and autonomy.
- Keen interest in designing and performing syntheses in search for new inorganic compounds and knowledge in characterization techniques.
