Risk Management Specialist

About the RoleAs a Risk Analyst, you will contribute to monitoring, reporting, and analyzing the CCP's risks, enhancing our existing risk management framework in compliance with the EMIR Regulation and SIX Group risk policies. You will work closely with our Quality Risk Management Department and other teams to ensure that risks are appropriately managed and that our risk methodologies, procedures, and internal regulations are continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assess relevant Key Risk Indicators (Market, Credit, and Liquidity risk) and report to Management Committees and Regulators.
- Ensure that risks are managed in accordance with established regulations and best practices in risk management.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations of results for decision-making bodies and supervisory authorities.
- Collaborate with Quantitative Risk, Swiss Risk Management, BME Clearing's Operations, and other SIX Clearing teams.
- University degree in finance or equivalent.
- Desirable: MSc in Risk Management or Financial Markets; FRM, CFA, or similar certifications.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial markets industry, preferably in market risk management.
- Experience in a CCP and IRS products will be considered positively.
