Job Title: Junior Project Buyer

At Vanderlande, we're seeking a talented Junior Project Buyer to join our team. As a global leader in material handling and logistics automation, we're committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and reliability in logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement process from negotiation to material receipt and invoice review.
  • Ensure material and service delivery dates align with project schedules.
  • Analyze purchase costs to meet project target costs.
  • Verify that engineering specifications are complete and provide all necessary information to suppliers for accurate offers.
  • Control the quality of deliveries, including product quality, timely deliveries, and documentation.
Requirements:
  • University degree or higher education, preferably in technical engineering.
  • Advanced level of English (French is highly valuable).
  • Knowledge in procurement management.
  • 2 years of similar tasks, ideally with experience in engineering or having worked in another engineering company.
  • Ability to take initiative and make autonomous decisions.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain a network of internal and external contacts.
  • High organizational and planning capacity.
  • Process monitoring and improvement skills.
