Key Responsibilities:- Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate research projects, including the conceptualization, design, and execution of fluorophore scaffolds and fluorescent probes.
- Project Management: Manage projects assigned and client requests, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Technological Expertise: Learn and apply state-of-the-art enabling technologies, specifically related to molecular design and organic synthesis.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with chemistry and biology colleagues locally and throughout our collaborating research groups, companies, and entities.
- Communication: Present ideas and results internally to discuss possible issues, solutions, and alternatives.
- Education: PhD in Medicinal Chemistry with > 4 years' experience as a post-doc.
- Experience: Extensive and accredited experience in organic synthesis, biomolecules and small molecules purification and characterization approaches, independent design of new molecules, and deep understanding of biological data.
- Skills: Strong independence, problem-solving, troubleshooting skills, and proven ability to lead research projects.
- Personality: Responsible and goal-oriented professional, able to integrate into a multidisciplinary team and work in a competitive environment.
