Signalling Systems Engineer

CERTIFER is seeking an experienced Signalling Systems Engineer to join our team in Brussels. As a key member of our Signalling department, you will play a crucial role in assessing signalling projects, applying your technical expertise for both onboard and trackside subsystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessment activities for signalling projects according to the assessment plan and applicable standards.
- Conduct documentation review, tests witnessing, and writing of technical reports.
- Provide technical expertise to evaluate evidence provided by clients.
- Interact with customers and national or European Railway authorities.
- Report to Project managers and hierarchically to the Head of the Signalling department.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field and 3 years of experience in the Railway Control Command and Signalling domain, or Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience.
- Proven experience as an assessor in a Conformity Assessment Body (DeBo/NoBo) is an asset.
- Technical knowledge of European or National Railways regulations, ERTMS standards, Control Command Signalling TSI, ETCS/CBTC/National Signalling systems.
- Rigorous respect of processes and regulations related to Certification and Authorisation scope.
