Job Opportunity
We are currently looking for an Architect or Aerospace Engineer to join our Aviation team in Madrid as a planning engineer. The person will support the rest of the team in:
- Infrastructure/Architecture Planning
The main functions will include:
- Collaboration in current planning projects: capacity/demand studies, infrastructure investment analysis, operability studies, etc.
- Collaboration in airport planning projects: geometric configuration of the airfield, passenger terminal building, accesses, and support facilities.
- Static and dynamic simulation within airport subsystems.
- Development of proposals for both public and private clients.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Architecture/Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in a related field.
- Advanced Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (C1) required, other languages valuable.
- Organizational skills, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Modeling software skills such as AutoCAD, Revit, Illustrator, InDesign, Infraworks, Open Road.
Assessable Requirements
The following skills are desirable:
- Experience in airport geometric design software such as Transoft's Aviplan or similar.
- Experience with Rhino / Grasshopper software.
- Experience in airport subsystems capacity simulation software such as ARC's CAST or Transoft's ARCPORT.
