Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer to play a key role in developing our platform, taking part in architectural decisions for the future of our software. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient software solutions, working closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop distributed platforms with high availability and scalability
  • Apply advanced computer science concepts, including algorithm and system design, cloud architecture, and machine learning
  • Collaborate with the team to drive innovation and improvement in software development practices
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
  • Develop and deploy software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a backend developer
  • Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript and Node.js
  • Strong Linux administration skills, including shell scripting and Unix tooling
  • Fluent in Spanish (native level) and English (both oral and written)
  • Proficiency in Git and experience with distributed version control systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a distributed team
  • Familiarity with Go and AWS services, including EC2, S3, and Route53
  • Knowledge of database concepts, including SQL and NoSQL
