About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Beamline Scientist to join our team at the ALBA synchrotron light source. As a key member of our Experiments Division, you will be responsible for developing your own scientific program in diffraction and X-ray spectroscopy, aligned with the scientific program of the beamline and the Chemical and Material Science section.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative hardware and software tools for the 3Sbar beamline in collaboration with the scientific ALBA staff and engineers/technicians.
  • Provide support to design, construct, and install the 3Sbar beamline.
  • Prepare the beamline as a Local Contact for scientific users.
