Production Planning Specialist

Job Summary
The Production Planning Specialist will work closely with the Planning Manager to develop and issue a detailed monthly master production schedule for plant-specific key Global Brands. This role is critical in creating and maintaining a planning system and process that ensures highly efficient utilization of equipment and resources in support of the site's plan of record.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare production plans for manufacturing and packaging areas using site software systems to ensure correct market supply that avoids out-of-stock situations and overstocks in the markets.
- Monitor month-on-month demand changes over a rolling 3-12 month horizon and validate demand changes with markets and FG sites.
- Manage site finished goods, bulk, and production materials inventories, minimizing inventory write-offs and monitoring shelf-life/expiry dates.
- Collaborate with the Site Planning Team to resolve asset balancing trade-offs and ensure sufficient supply performance.
- Review high-level supply requirements across the full planning horizon and prioritize orders based on market inventory position, SKU segmentation, and site/above site production strategy.
