Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at Kimpton Vividora Barcelona. As the friendly face of our hotel bar, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests, setting the tone for a memorable experience.
- Describe the selection of beverages and menu items to guests, highlighting their origin, taste, and preparation methods.
- Understand and memorize all recipes and descriptions of our products, including spirits and food cocktails.
- Manage inventory, ensure beverages are well-stocked, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the working area.
- Assist with other duties as needed, working collaboratively with colleagues to provide seamless service.
- Assess customers' needs and preferences, making recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Report and follow up on maintenance and repairs, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the bar.
- Process cash and credit card payments, accurately closing guest checks and settling voided checks or complimentary items.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in a hotel or bar as a bartender.
- Fluency in the local language and English; additional languages are highly valued.
- Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, empathetic, team-oriented, and passionate about service.
