About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at TravelPerk. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Health and Safety strategy to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage and coordinate Health and Safety initiatives, including training programs, awareness campaigns, and medical checks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address Health and Safety concerns, and implement solutions to prevent injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain Health and Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on Health and Safety matters, and investigate incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure our organization remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and experience in Health and Safety, with a focus on risk prevention and mitigation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective Health and Safety strategies, and to drive cultural change within an organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex Health and Safety issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Health and Safety software and systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on adaptability and flexibility.
