Postdoctoral Researcher in Supramolecular Nanochemistry and Materials

The Supramolecular NanoChemistry and Materials Group at the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will participate in the development of a European project related to the Design and Synthesis of New Materials via Programmable Disassembly of Reticular Materials (Clip-off Chemistry).
Main Responsibilities- Synthesis and characterization of reticular materials
- Clip-off synthesis of new materials/compounds using these reticular materials as precursors
- Participation in writing scientific reports and papers, attending project meetings and scientific conferences, and in outreach activities within the project
- Supervision of PhD students
Requirements
- PhD Degree in Chemistry (essential requirement)
- Experience in Photochemistry or biocatalysis (with enzymes) is an essential requirement
- Reticular Chemistry (design, synthesis, and characterization of MOFs or COFs) will be positively evaluated
