Banquet Chef Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Chef to lead our kitchen team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our clients. As a Banquet Chef, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and directing food preparation in our Banquet kitchen to create unforgettable and elegant event dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage the Banquet Kitchen and work closely with the Executive Chef in all aspects of Banquet Kitchen management.
  • Develop new concepts, create and introduce new menus, and standardized recipes.
  • Order food and supplies, maintain food cost, and ensure quality, consistency, and hygiene in the Banquet Kitchen.
  • Allocate kitchen resources, execute controls, train, and develop Banquet kitchen staff.
  • Showcase creativity and skills in food preparation and create a memorable Banquet event experience.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of previous Banquet Chef experience or similar position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts Management, Baking and Pastry Arts Management, or Culinary Science.
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Positive attitude, ability to multi-task, and communicate effectively with team members.
