Job Title: Power Iberia Junior Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Consultant to join our Power Division in Madrid. As a key member of our Iberia Power team, you will be responsible for delivering technical assessments and consultancy services to lenders, investors, and owners in the renewables industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical consulting services to clients throughout the development, procurement, construction, and operations phases of BESS projects.
  • Assist in RINA's position as industry-leading BESS technical consultants through continuous technical knowledge building.
  • Develop, test, and deliver new solutions to clients, staying ahead of industry best practice with a solution-focused attitude.
  • Participate in technical due diligence, project management, and quality assurance activities.
  • Contribute to conceptual designs, evaluation of BESS suppliers and solutions, and technical specifications.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in an engineering field, with a focus on renewable energy.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with additional languages a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the renewable sector, with a minimum of 1 year of specific experience in BESS.
  • Experience in BESS research and development or engineering, as well as other technologies such as PV and/or WIND.
  • Knowledge of Spanish regulation and policies affecting BESS and renewable energy business.
