Faculty Position: 3D Texturing and Surfacing Instructor
Kwantlen Polytechnic University is seeking a qualified instructor to teach 3D texturing and surfacing courses in the Entertainment Arts program. The successful candidate will have expertise in computer graphics and 3D character animation for feature film, TV, VFX, and/or game development.
Responsibilities:
- Teach 3D texturing and surfacing courses to students in the Entertainment Arts program
- Develop and implement curriculum for 3D texturing and surfacing courses
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement program curriculum
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Expertise in computer graphics and 3D character animation for feature film, TV, VFX, and/or game development
- Teaching experience in a post-secondary setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
