Vista Engineering is committed to delivering industry-leading engineering, data, and analytics solutions that empower small business owners worldwide in marketing and design.

The Marketing Optimization domain focuses on delivering marketing intelligence to power engaging, effective, and efficient communication with customers.

As a key member of the Marketing Optimization domain, you'll collaborate with a cross-functional product team named FOMO (Full-funnel Omnichannel Marketing Optimization) to build data products that provide a complete picture of marketing performance.

With our team, Vistaprint marketing can make informed strategy decisions based on accurate, well-rounded marketing performance data that supports long-term sustainable growth.

Some of our key products include channel attribution, channel reporting, partner data ingestion, and Marketing Mix Model.


Your Responsibilities:
  1. Tackle sophisticated marketing business problems using data-driven approaches, leveraging your technical expertise in SQL and Python to find innovative solutions.
  2. Design, develop, and optimize complex data models and dashboards that support analytics requirements while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  3. Define and apply software engineering and analytics best practices, such as version control, testing, and data visualization, to analytics code.
  4. Create and maintain associated data documentation and definitions.
  5. Take ownership of projects with urgency and resourcefulness, driving them to completion.
  6. Collaborate effectively by supporting team members, contributing to operational tickets, and adapting to achieve common goals.

Excellent data modeling and programming skills in SQL and Python; deep understanding of version control systems like Git; familiar with data flow tools like DBT; proven experience with continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends; degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Applied Maths/Statistics, or another quantitative field.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of dashboard creation tools like Streamlit, Looker; experience in data technologies Snowflake, DBT, and/or Databricks; data science/ML techniques; relevant work experience in an Agile environment; previous experience in the marketing domain.
