Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Emergence. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software by executing test cases, identifying defects, and providing feedback to the development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly document found errors and report them to the development team
  • Participate in planning and review meetings with the project team
  • Collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues
  • Keep test documentation and procedures up to date
  • Design and execute manual test cases for web applications
  • Verify compatibility with different browsers and devices
  • Design and execute test cases for Android applications
  • Verify compatibility with different Android versions and device models
  • Design and execute manual tests to verify the functioning of hardware devices
  • Test integration between software and hardware
  • Perform stress and durability tests on devices

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of manual testing methodologies and techniques
  • Experience in testing web and mobile applications, preferably Android
  • Familiarity with hardware device testing
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience using bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRails)
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in manual software testing
  • Software testing certifications (ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • English, full professional proficiency
