Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will help us build scalable data pipelines, develop APIs, and improve data reliability and quality. You will work closely with our Engineering and Analysts teams to assess new data sources and respond to data-related requests.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a similar technical field of study.
  • At least 3 years of experience in web development using Ruby on Rails.
  • Proficiency in integrating and working with external APIs, including REST protocol and authentication mechanisms like OAuth and API Keys.
  • Experience in Elasticsearch, including designing and implementing search features, performing analytics, and managing data.
  • Solid understanding of SQL, database design, querying, performance optimization, and managing complex data relationships using SQL (MongoDB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the Akka framework and experience in building concurrent and distributed applications.
  • Knowledge of Ember.js is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
