About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our team at Socialpoint. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our mobile games and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feature Development: Define, architect, and develop features and gameplay functionality in Unity and C#.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content teams, to integrate new technologies and tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Dive into the internals of core systems to extend them as needed and optimize code and memory for high-performance simulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and help to improve team and process inefficiencies, and mentor other engineers to ensure knowledge sharing and growth.
Requirements
  • Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education/work experience.
  • Experience: 6+ years of game industry/mobile app experience as a software developer, with shipped titles and/or live games experience.
  • Skills: Expert knowledge in C#, C/C++, or a similar programming language, 3+ years of Unity experience, solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software methodologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, comfort working in a collaborative environment, and experience with live operations on backend server infrastructure.
