We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join our team at Amazon Spain Fulfillment, S.L.U. in a key role that will provide critical financial insights to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Standardize, consolidate, automate, and enhance daily and weekly financial reporting across EU, collaborating with Central Finance, Operations, and other business partners as primary customers
- Identify, create, and consolidate best practice financial reporting to ensure accurate data-driven decisions
- Proactively scope out initiatives to support business partners
- Provide ad-hoc support to business partners as per work prioritized via a ticket queue
- Identify analysis/reports beneficial for other sites and scale them accordingly
- Create tools and reports for analysis to maximize automation of routine tasks
- Maintain an automation roadmap for the Central Finance Organization
- Build relationships with other teams to avoid overlap and ensure seamless teamwork
- Own data sets incoming into servers and manage deprecation of data sources/servers
- Perform data checks for any data entering the server for Central Finance owned tools
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will be involved in multiple projects simultaneously, analyzing data and building financial models to pinpoint areas for improved efficiency and productivity. This role demands a combination of strong business partnering and advanced technical skills.
The ideal candidate will possess high attention to detail, basic project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Understanding Amazon's financial data flow and utilizing the right data for analysis will be crucial in influencing important business decisions.
This role provides the flexibility to work independently while collaborating closely with partners to offer valuable insights.
Based primarily in one of our fulfillment centers but may also require work in other sites.
About the TeamThe Central Finance team aims to standardize and improve financial processes for the EU Network. They play a crucial role in driving network performance across all paths and enhancing technical acumen and process knowledge for operational leaders.
Requirements
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Relevant experience in a finance role leading projects and partnering with stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel, financial reporting, and data mining tools like Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau
- Experience in financial modeling
