Job Description

White Stuff is seeking a highly ambitious and innovative creative leader to join our team as a Head of Design. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the product aesthetic and handwriting from concept through the product development process to final execution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong creative eye and exquisite taste level, with proven experience of working in creative fast-paced medium-sized organisations. They will be able to lead teams and create a strong creative culture, fostering and developing innovative thinking in others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product brand guardian for the business
  • Be aware of relevant macro trends and creative external influences and interpret these in the most innovative way in line with the brand handwriting
  • Be fully accountable for the design function of the business, landing fabulous product which is commercially aligned and fully reflective of the brand
  • Lead and develop your design team, looking after the people you manage and enriching the wider product teams with your creative vision

Requirements:

  • Strong creative eye and exquisite taste level
  • Proven experience of working in creative fast-paced medium-sized organisations
  • Experienced in leading teams and creating a strong creative culture, fostering and developing innovative thinking in others
