About the Role:
Aeronáutica Gestión is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the development of 3D CAD models for aircraft interior design projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop 3D CAD models for aircraft interior components using composite or metallic materials.
- Ensure that all designs meet product requirements and adhere to industry standards.
- Collaborate with the aesthetics design team to develop CAD models that meet their requirements.
- Generate Bill of Materials for production and purchasing/logistics purposes.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to meet established requirements and deadlines.
- Provide technical information to the program manager for planning, execution, and control of technical activities.
- Develop work estimates and projections to support project planning.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
Requirements:
- MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics, or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with CAD software (Solidworks preferable) and MS Office Suite.
- Experience in the development of components/products, with a strong background in the aeronautics sector.
- Good knowledge of materials and production techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a diverse team.
