**Job Summary**
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer to join our Software Engineering organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software test plans and test case solutions to address complex testing needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with agile development teams to ensure seamless integration of testing and development processes.
- Participate in Scrum team meetings and align with SDLC requirements for ticket management, testing artifacts, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scenarios for complex components.
- Write functional automated tests as part of our CI build-pipeline for acceptance of user-facing features and tools.
- Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences.
- Contribute to developing performance testing infrastructure.
- Drive organization-wide adoption of automated testing framework.
**Requirements**
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum).
- Good knowledge in Windows Operative systems.
- Strong problem-solving and fixing skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to step up when situation demands, such as meeting deadlines.
- Performance-driven, highly motivated to face challenges.
**Preferred Skills**
- Knowledge of Test Management systems, such as ALM Quality Center, Jira Xray, or Azure Test Plans.
- Experience in C#, Java, and Python programming languages.
- Good experience in GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
- Service-oriented architecture, micro-service testing, or API testing experience.
