About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Server Build Technician to join our team at IBM. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying servers and other IT infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build high-quality server infrastructure solutions to meet client requirements
  • Deploy and configure servers, networking equipment, and other IT infrastructure components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues to ensure optimal system performance
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions
  • Monitor and manage data center infrastructure to ensure uptime and performance
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience working in a 24/7 data center environment, preferably with IBM Cloud
  • Experience with operating system installation (Windows Server, Linux, Unix, VMWare, etc.)
  • Knowledge of PC hardware concepts and component installation
  • Good understanding of RAID technologies
  • Ability to work in shift rotations, including day, evening, overnight, and weekends
  • Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Applicable IT certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, etc.)
  • Customer-focused attitude with previous customer service experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
