Assistant Chef

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Chef to join our team at the Basque Culinary Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our children’s program “Class Chef” in the Eroski hypermarkets in Bizkaia.

Main Responsibilities

1. Prepare and organize materials and utensils needed for cooking activities.
2. Guide and support children during cooking sessions, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
3. Foster a collaborative and respectful atmosphere among participants.
4. Provide support to the teacher in assigned tasks.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An intermediate or higher degree in Cooking, Gastronomy, Tourism, or a related field.
• Experience and knowledge of children’s needs and realities.
• High-level interlocution skills in Basque (C1).
