This role with Mygwork, an inclusive employer, is a great opportunity to pioneer in the field of Health and Safety. We are seeking an enthusiastic Safety Specialist to support the EHS team in one of our Fulfillment Centers. The successful candidate will be an experienced individual who is passionate about Health and Safety and has a bias for action.
The key responsibilities of this role include assisting with safety performance monitoring, facilitating training programs on critical EHS issues, supporting the implementation of EHS programs, driving compliance with local and EU legislation, and ensuring that EHS systems are kept accurate at all times.
Additionally, you will assist the EHS Manager with the construction of incident prevention programs, contribute to requests for improvement of on-site safety, prepare responses to insurers or solicitors, participate in the EU Fulfillment Center EHS Safety Audit Programme, and arrange and conduct basic surveys and checks in the Fulfillment Center environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, including Safety, Hygiene, and Ergonomics according to Spanish Health and Safety regulations. You will also need to have advanced proficiency in English and fluency in Spanish. Experience of Lean, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies would be an asset.
