Head of Studies Opportunity in Malaga

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Studies to join our team at What'S Up - Living English in Malaga. As a key member of our academic leadership team, you will be responsible for managing, training, and supporting our didactic team to ensure the professional growth of our teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and train the didactic team to ensure the delivery of high-quality English language instruction
  • Schedule time-tables in response to demand for classes and teach classes as needed
  • Conduct quality control through ongoing training, staff meetings, class observations, and staff appraisals
  • Liaise with consultants and students to receive feedback and resolve any issues related to class changes or complaints
  • Coordinate teacher holidays, Saturday rotas, and school bank holidays
  • Promote Have Fun Open Activities and ensure didactic staff is prepared for events
Essential Requirements:
  • Degree level or above
  • CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL / PGCE TEFL, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to mentor and guide newly qualified teachers
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and be comfortable working with IT
  • Residence in Spain with EU working papers
