Mission Overview

The main target of this role is to develop different metallic coatings for rocket engines.

Job Responsibilities

Evaluate and select the best procedure for each process.

Define optimum parameters for each process.

Create required documentation for process execution.

Establish controls and tests.

Process data and results evaluation, setting corrective or improvement actions if needed.

Deal with suppliers of raw materials and equipment.

Necessary Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Materials.

Other academic backgrounds may be considered depending on relevant work experience.

Desired Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in electroplating processes for non-ferrous metals.

Deep knowledge of chemistry of electrochemical processes.

Experience in parametrization and optimization of complex processes.

Knowledge of masking techniques.

Knowledge of characterization techniques for metallic coatings.

Experience in the aeronautical and/or space sector.

ERP and LIMS system proficiency.

Familiarity with diverse standards (ISO, ASTM, ECSS, MIL, NACE).

Knowledge of Spanish and European law applicable to products and equipment used (REACH, CE marking...), as well as EHS.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
