About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Control Specialist to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials to support the maintenance and repair of War Readiness Material (WRM) vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials to repair WRM vehicles, ensuring the best value possible is obtained.
- Maintain accurate records of Government Furnished Property and Equipment (GFP & GFE) listings and perform regular inventories.
- Monitor Due-In for Maintenance listings (DIFM) and Base Supply inventories to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Update Fleet Management and Analysis (FM&A) on parts status and maintain copies of request for stock level adjustments.
- Review vehicle Non-Mission Capable Status (NMCS) reports daily and brief leadership on any issues.
- Perform duties associated with company credit card program and establish and replenish bench and working stock inventories.
- Inspect Composite and Individual Tool Kits (ITK/CTK) and Tool Cribs, and store, purchase, and inventory Hazardous Material used in Vehicle Maintenance & Management.
- Maintain Test Measurement Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) items within standards and process these items for calibration.
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook to complete reports, forms, and communicate with customers and coworkers.
- Remain familiar with the Material Control section of AFI 24-302, Government, and local Company policies and procedures.
- Issue, inventory, and procure all tooling and equipment necessary for the maintenance needs of assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Update parts data and status into Defense Property and Accountability System (DPAS) when required and maintain good housekeeping and safety practices.
- Establish parts and stock levels to support various War Readiness Material (WRM) vehicle assets and ensure levels are replenished prior to depletion.
Requirements:
- At least three years' experience as an administrative worker.
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English language at a level 1 (B1).
- Must have a host nation or equivalent driver's permit.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five years of experience in office administrative work.
- Experience in material procurement activities.
