Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our distributed team working on a project in the renewable energy industry. This exciting opportunity will involve collaborating with a talented group of professionals to design, implement, and deliver high-quality software that solves real-world problems.

The Project

Our client is revolutionizing the way businesses and consumers use energy by promoting a greener and more sustainable system. As a key contributor to this project, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of energy usage.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deliver high-quality software that meets the project's requirements.
  • Create Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation and AWS Cloud Development Kit.
  • Mentor junior team members and share your expertise to contribute to the team's growth.
  • Advocate for and contribute to establishing an Agile and DevOps culture within the team.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated ability with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Gradle and its application in building scalable applications.
  • Advanced skills in Object-Oriented Programming and software design patterns.
  • Solid experience in Microservice Architecture and Event-Driven systems.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB, and Kinesis.
  • Experience with Jenkins and its integration with other tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
