About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Product Group GPQSS Health Safety and Environment Manager to join our team at Hitachi Energy Spain. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of a suitable HSE management system across GPQSS, aligned to BU HSE strategic and operational management needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the GPQSS Global ISO certification program for the HSE related parts.
- Lead the regional GPQSS HSE Managers community to develop suitable HSE & Sustainability governance models, including internal audit program, significant tools and KPI, specific training modules for the whole GPQSS organization.
- Act as the overall HSE & Sustainability Manager for the Power Electronics GCoCs.
- Join the BU HSE&Sust. Leadership team, participating, supporting, facilitating, implementing and deploying the strategic and tactical programs under the leadership of the BU HSE&S function.
Requirements:
- University degree
- At least 10 years of experience in HSE
- Experience in project management, ideally at global or regional level, preferably in the energy, power, or oil & gas industry
- Strong communication skills with the capability to effectively collaborate within and support matrixed leadership and cross-functional teams
- Knowledgeable of ISO, NEBOSH and IOSH certifications
- Fluent in English
- Availability to travel (around 20%)
