Job Title: Elevator Operator
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Elevator Operator to join our team at ADM in Toledo, OH. As an Elevator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, loading and unloading trucks, railcars, and barges, and performing general maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery, including skidsteers, wheel loaders, and forklifts
- Load and unload trucks, railcars, and barges
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including mowing, snow removal, and site cleanup
- Assist operations personnel, maintenance personnel, and supervisors as needed
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Willingness to work shift with variable start time, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional image and positive attitude
