Job Summary

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom scripts to support the Continuous Integration process and building pipelines.

You will ensure these are built with best practices in mind and coordinate with the rest of the team working on other layers of the same infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop custom scripts as required to support the Continuous Deployment process.
  • Integrate different Continuous Integration & Deployment tools to achieve automation based on the defined target architecture.
  • Develop packaging, deployment documentation, and scripts for final builds to be used for production deployments.
  • Support agile development team with builds and releases.
  • Implement release automation solutions as per the defined target architecture or operating model.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD at a skilled level.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
  • Experience with public cloud; AWS experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid experience with YAML and repositories.
  • Comfortable communicating in English within an international team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of CI-CD / Building Pipelines / DevOps Engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecom, or 3+ years of equivalent experience in an engineering role.
