Job Title: Summer Camp Residential Monitor

Colejobs is seeking a dynamic and inspiring professional to join our team as a Summer Camp Residential Monitor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our students during the summer camp program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respect and adhere to the guidelines set by King's College S.L. (Staff Handbook)
  • Attend training sessions and planning meetings before the start of the course
  • Maintain good standards of personal hygiene and appearance at all times
  • Wear the provided uniform and suitable footwear
  • Arrive on the agreed starting date and follow the residential course timetable
  • Be punctual and flexible in all duties
  • Ensure children receive adequate care, especially when feeling unwell or injured
  • Maintain awareness of fire, health, and safety regulations
  • Participate in unpacking and packing course material with the Course Director
  • Work collaboratively as part of the team
  • Be available for transfers to/from the airport
Monitoring Duties:
  • Take on a 24-hour duty role and be responsible for the well-being of children in the course
  • Use English at all times with children in the course
  • Prepare and lead sports/activities for groups of 10-15 students
  • Run daily dorm sessions/reunions with your group and address any problems that may arise
  • Participate in evening activities and set up materials for activities
  • Keep areas clean and tidy
