About the Role

Zurich 56 Company Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Investment Analyst to join our team. As an Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and overseeing investment portfolios to ensure they meet performance targets and risk profiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of the investment strategy for unit-linked products.
  • Conduct research and due diligence on funds across various asset classes, including alternative investments.
  • Oversight of existing funds/ETFs performance to outperform reference benchmarks in different market environments.
  • Conduct and document fund selection and ESG analyses in the retail fund universe.
  • Analyze asset classes and market sectors to formulate opinions on their relative performance and make recommendations for portfolios.
  • Assist in performance attribution analysis to explain differences between portfolio and benchmark return.
  • Identify attractive investment opportunities or trends in various investment strategies and undesirable style drift, unexpected performance trends, or other adverse developments.
  • Stay up-to-date on local and global markets and macroeconomic situations that may affect or provide opportunities for the implementation of the strategy to support decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, or physics with an economic background.
  • Actuarial science and finance, economics with strong quantitative skills.
  • MSc in quantitative finance, financial markets, or CFA qualification.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a related field, preferably within an insurance company.
  • Proficiency in fund selection.
  • Experience in investment management and risk/return key indicators.
  • Deep knowledge of capital markets, financial products, and economic theory.
  • Team worker, proactive, and positive attitude, enthusiasm for financial markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
