Perinatal Ultrasound Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at 100 Lcmc Health. As a Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist, you will specialize in perinatal sonography under direct supervision, operating diagnostic medical ultrasound equipment to obtain images of various OB-GYN conditions and performing various scans according to AIUM guidelines.

• Perform transabdominal and transvaginal scans to obtain detailed fetal anatomic exams, umbilical artery and middle cerebral artery Doppler studies, biophysical profiles, nuchal translucency exams, 2D/3D imaging studies, and cervical lengths.
• Select appropriate transducer and settings for the study.
• Expand the scope of examination according to any abnormality identified.
• Provide assistance with invasive procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villi sampling, and other MFM procedures.
• Review physician orders to ensure proper examination and diagnostic results are obtained.
• Verify all images and documentation are sent to the MFM electronic documentation system.

• MFM sonography experience in an outpatient setting.
• Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in Sonography.
• Certification in Basic Life Support Health Care Provider, Sonography Certification, and Fetal Nuchal Translucency Certification.
