Automotive Business Development Specialist

As a key member of BYD Europe's Sales Team, the Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in establishing a solid base for the successful development of the passenger car business in Spain. This role reports directly to the Sales Manager in Spain and is focused on supporting the Sales Team in all back-office activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support dealers in placing new vehicle orders and follow the delivery process with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of vehicles and support dealers in reaching registration targets.
  • Control bonus payments to the Dealer Network and ensure timely payments.
  • Supply all documents related to new vehicle orders to dealers.
  • Prepare reports requested by Headquarters in Europe and China.
  • Consolidate demand and assess demand vs market potential through sales planning skills.
  • Support sales team with activities related to new dealer appointments.
  • Train dealers in new processes and using BYD IT systems.
  • Support Regional Field Sales Managers on Business Plans preparation and KPI follow-up.
  • Contribute to the successful launch of BYD's product offensive.

Your Profile:

  • Written communication skills.
  • Data analysis skills.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Able to prioritize and work proactively with excellent organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, knowledge of Chinese is a plus.

Requirements:

  • 2 years' work experience in the automotive industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing.
  • Passionate about creating a more sustainable future.
