About the Role
We seek a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead teams responsible for delivering flawless entertainment on a wide range of FireTV devices worldwide. The ideal candidate will excel in mapping customer journeys, establishing metrics for success and failure, and implementing resiliency best practices across device ecosystems. They must be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, leading strong teams, and defining software architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a tech org consisting of SDEs, TPMs, and SDETs
- Manage team development, including hiring, retention, performance management, mentoring, and skill development
- Oversee E2E architecture, design, implementation, support, and evaluation of technology-focused tools and services
- Provide leadership and innovation in service design and implementation to enable new products and services
- Evaluate complex business and technical requirements, communicating inherent risks and solutions to stakeholders
Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000 per year
This figure is estimated based on industry standards and the role's requirements. Compensation may vary depending on individual qualifications and company policies.

A Day in the Life
You'll collaborate with internal teams and product groups to define and build features and product experiences used by thousands of customers watching FireTV. As part of the FireTV org, you'll work horizontally across various exciting new device types, driving innovation and growth.
