Job Description:

You will bring your expertise in backend engineering to our cutting-edge projects, working with cloud-native technologies, staying on top of trends, and driving projects with increasing independence. This role offers a unique opportunity for talented engineers to push their boundaries and think big.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on the productization and solution build-out of a highly innovative project.
  • Demonstrate a strong command of cloud-native and backend technologies.
  • Develop on the backend of our projects and ensure seamless integration.
  • Implement and improve test strategy to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure our solutions are scalable, maintainable, and perform well.
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers, project managers, and designers to create cohesive and efficient solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in cloud-native backend engineering roles.
  • 3+ years of experience building production-grade software with TypeScript, Node.js, and its ecosystem.
  • Proven experience in building and running cloud-native systems on Kubernetes and AWS.
  • Proficiency in API design (e.g., REST and OpenAPI, GraphQL, or gRPC).
  • Experience working with databases (e.g., relational DBs or NoSQL DBs) and other storage technologies (e.g., blob storage such as AWS S3).
  • Proficiency working with Docker and other containerization technologies.
  • Experience working in modern software development teams (Git strategy, CI/CD, Testing, ...).
  • Able to quickly learn new things without tight supervision.
  • Able to understand business problems and the needs of our users.
  • Problem-solving attitude.
  • Collaborative team spirit.
  • Fluent in English.

Estimated Salary: €120,000 - €150,000 per year
