Job Title: Mechanical Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Service Engineer to join our international team of technical experts within service engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing solutions to technical questions relating to the mechanical drive train of wind turbines.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement solutions to technical questions and issues related to the mechanical drive train of wind turbines
  • Collaborate with local service organizations, construction teams, quality assurance, and product development to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Initiate and coordinate root cause analyses to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Assert claims against third parties and develop commercial solutions in close cooperation with local service organizations, purchasing, and the legal department
  • Improve standards and processes, and ensure permanent knowledge transfer between relevant departments and locations
  • Monitor the condition of mechanical components and identify potential quality deviations
Your Profile:
  • Technical degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable field
  • Knowledge of root cause analyses and the sustainable elimination of systematic errors
  • Experience in dealing with mechanical assemblies, preferably planetary gears
  • Excellent business English skills and good to very good knowledge of German
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, ideally with experience using Microsoft PowerBI or SQL databases
  • Results-oriented, highly analytical, consistent, and dynamic
  • Team player with a willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 10%)
