Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Curriculum Development Expert to join our team at italki. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our language learning platform and shape the future of language education.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive and engaging language learning curricula tailored to various proficiency levels and learning objectives.
- Create high-quality educational materials, including lesson plans, exercises, quizzes, and supplementary resources.
- Provide ongoing support and training for italki teachers to ensure they can effectively implement and adapt our curriculum.
- Evaluate and continuously improve existing curriculum and content based on feedback from teachers, students, and performance metrics.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in language education, incorporating innovative teaching methods and technologies into the curriculum.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design, preferably in the field of language education.
- Strong knowledge of language education methodologies, instructional design principles, and adult learning theories.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms, educational technologies, and content management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
