Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and maintain the infrastructure underpinning our products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of DevOps methodology and experience with Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud) and On-Premise infrastructures (VMWare, Proxmox). They will also be familiar with Agile methodology and Linux (Fedora, Debian), as well as application containers (Docker) and orchestration (Swarm, Kubernetes).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and Implement New Tools: Stay current with the latest tools and technologies.
  • Design and Implement Infrastructure: Select cloud providers, configure networking, storage, and security.
  • Support Teams: Ensure scalability, reliability, and security in features and services.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot: Implement automated solutions for issue detection and resolution.
  • Maintain SLAs: Ensure our infrastructures are always available and performing well.
  • Documentation and Automation: Create documentation, runbooks, and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Collaborate and Mentor: Work with other teams on projects, support and mentor team members.
  • Advocate DevOps Practices: Promote continuous integration, deployment, and delivery methods.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of DevOps methodology.
  • Experience with Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud) and On-Premise infrastructures (VMWare, Proxmox).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Experience with Linux (Fedora, Debian).
  • Application containers (Docker) and orchestration (Swarm, Kubernetes).
  • Version control systems (Git, GitLab).
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Configuration automation (Ansible).
  • Monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Graylog, Elasticsearch).
  • Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Event Store (Kafka).
  • Scripting skills (Python).
  • Good command of English.

Bonus Points:

Background in blockchain/cryptocurrencies industry.
