Job Title: Senior Software Architect

NVIDIA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Architect to join our Software Architecture group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, cloud computing, and networking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of cloud-based orchestration and provisioning solutions
  • Design state-of-the-art system architecture for DPUs and NICs technologies
  • Provide innovative solutions for complex problems
  • Responsible for writing effective and clear architecture specifications
  • Evaluate new technologies and develop proof-of-concept prototypes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware architects, R&D, product, and solution architects
  • Work with high-profile customers on advanced and future technologies and solutions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience as a software architect or system architect
  • 4+ years of experience as a software developer
  • Deep knowledge and experience with C, Python, and Linux development
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, and Helm frameworks
  • Experience with Kubernetes CRDs, Operators, and CNI plugin development
  • Knowledge of provisioning systems, such as Maas or Ironic
  • Strong design, coding, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work concurrently with multiple groups locally and abroad in the organization
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in data center technologies, network topologies, and cloud computing
  • Experience with OpenStack, OpenShift, and/or cloud APIs
  • Prior experience with CNI Plugins, DPDK, OVS, and OVN
  • Familiarity with automation tools, such as Ansible
