Job Description
As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer at Mytheresa, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript. You will collaborate with web developers to integrate web views seamlessly into the app experience.
You will design, develop, and implement scalable, high-quality, and stable features with a focus on end-user experience. Additionally, you will work closely with the QA team to ensure a smooth release cycle with minimal defects.
You will participate actively in code reviews, ensuring that best practices and quality standards are met across the codebase. Furthermore, you will propose and implement software architecture solutions that follow industry best practices and design patterns.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 4+ years of experience in mobile development, with a strong foundation in React Native;
- solid knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript and proficiency in integrating web views within a mobile context;
- comfort working with native iOS (Objective-C/Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin) code when needed, including creating and maintaining React Native bridges to leverage platform-specific APIs;
- understanding of modern software engineering principles, with a proven ability to design and document feature architectures;
- detail-oriented approach, with a strong commitment to writing clean and maintainable code;
- ability to collaborate effectively with team members across disciplines, including web developers and QA, to deliver a seamless product.
