Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our Underwriting Analytics team. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in maintaining, supporting, and developing new features for our existing Underwriting Analytics applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support existing Underwriting Analytics applications
  • Develop new features and participate in the design/development of new application architectures
  • Collaborate with IT and Business profiles to achieve team goals
Requirements
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a Python developer
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience in advanced object-oriented programming, unit testing, and web/server application design
  • Strong ability to document development, including database design, application design, and ongoing documentation of changes and modifications
  • Strong skills in design patterns
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum or Kanban) and related tools (e.g. Atlassian Jira, Confluence)
  • Code version control (e.g. GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, SVN)
  • Main programming language: Python 3.8
  • Other languages: C# with.NET, Typescript with Angular
  • CI/CD knowledge (e.g. Bamboo, Octopus)
  • AWS services: S3, IAM, Batch, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB
  • Experience in Cloud warehouses, Snowflake
